Mrs. Sandra "Sandy" Puckett Hiott, 72, of Lexington, died on Friday, April 9, 2021. Born on April 24, 1948 in Columbia, SC, she was a daughter of the late Ernest Heyward Puckett and Margaret Catherine Howard Puckett.

Ms. Hiott graduated from Eau Claire High School and went on to work as a clerk for Baptist Hospital until her retirement in 2011. She enjoyed camping, loved her cats, and was a member of the Vince Gill Fan Club. Following her retirement, she, along with her husband Robert, was employed by Fred Anderson Toyota and Golden Motors as drivers.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Hiott; step-son, Timothy Hiott, Sr.; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Foch Hiott; sister-in-law, Linda Hiott; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Joyce Dawkins; brother, Wayne Puckett.

The graveside service for Mrs. Hiott will be held at 2 o’clock, Tuesday April 13th, at Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens, 2603 Two Notch Road, Columbia, with Chaplain Harry McCoy officiating. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family. All are invited to attend; however, masks are required, and social distancing is enforced to maintain a safe environment for all.
