Caroline Janine “Carli” Mundy Holland, 36, of Columbia, died Sunday, September 5, 2021. Born April 6, 1985, in Newark, Delaware, she is a daughter of Clarence J. Mundy and Susan Renee Fields.
Carli was a 2003 graduate of Northwestern High School in Rock Hill, SC. She later earned her bachelor’s degree in Communications and English from The University of South Carolina. Carli enjoyed supporting her university and cheering on Gamecock athletics. Carli was currently the manager of Waxing the City in Columbia. Whenever given the opportunity, she loved traveling, both domestically and abroad. Carli also enjoyed reading a great book or listening to her favorite podcasts.
Her greatest joy in life were her two daughters. Carli adored them both dearly and cherished every moment of being their mother. To show her love, she routinely cross-stitched gifts for family and friends.
Surviving in addition to her parents of Blythewood are her daughters, Ava Belle and Eilley Rose DiPietro; sisters, Clarissa Jill Woodman (Michael) of Winnsboro, SC; and their children, Michaela, Augustine, Mariana, Ian ,Gabriella, Declan, and Isidora, Courtney Jaymes Lasky (Mathew) of Rincon, GA; and their children, Natallie, Ethan, Drake, Nicholas, Antonio, and Zachary; fiancé, Christian Duran of San Clemente, CA; and her maternal grandparents, James and Louise Fields of Rock Hill, SC. Carli was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, James E. Mundy and Gisela Mundy.
A private service for family and friends will be held at a future date. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
