Miss Blair Nicole Spears, 2 days old, of Lugoff, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023. Born at 5 pounds, 1 oz, on January 17, 2023, in Lexington, South Carolina, she is a daughter of Cody Scott Spears and Katherine Ali Truesdale Spears.

Since the beginning, Blair has proven to be a true fighter. She was given a little more than a few hours to live and she beat all the odds by being a blessing from GOD for more than 2 days. During those precious days she stole the hearts of her family, as well as all the staff of the NICU unit of Lexington Medical Center. Although her time on earth was short, her love will be remembered for a lifetime. Blair is now in the arms of GOD receiving her heavenly rewards.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her big sister, Faith Marie Spears; parental grandparents, “Popeye” Rev. Barry Spears and “Mawmaw” DeeDee Spears; maternal grandmother, “Mimi” Allie Frances Truesdale; aunts, Alexis Leigh Spears and Tara Nicole DeMoya (Doug); and cousin, Douglas “Dougie” DeMoya; and additional loving family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Donald “Red” Truesdale.

The funeral service for Miss Blair will be held at 11 o’clock on Sunday, January 22nd, at Sonrise Baptist Church, 4930 Alpine Road, Columbia, SC. The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 10 o’clock at the church. A private burial will take place at Sonrise Baptist Church cemetery.
