The Town of Blythewood will honor area military veterans with a celebration from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8 at Doko Meadows Park amphitheater.

The program will highlight the five branches of the military with a parade of veterans, patriotic music, a military band and exhibits honoring those who have served or are now serving our country.

The free outdoor event will allow for social distancing. Doko Meadows Park is at 171 Langford Road in Blythewood. The event is hosted by the Town of Blythewood and the Blythewood Historical Society & Museum.

The town previously honored veterans with a Purple Heart Day celebration in August.
