Camden police are looking for two men accused of working together to rob a local jewelry store of approximately $15,000 worth of merchandise.
Police say a man (on the left in the white shirt in the photo above) entered Goodale Jewelers on Dekalb Street in Camden around 1:45 p.m. Tuesday.
As the man asked the owner to show him some jewelry, keeping the owner occupied, a second man (on the right in dark clothing in the photo) entered the store and took a jewelry holder from a display case and left the store, according to police.
Police say the case was unlocked because the owner had opened it to show jewelry to the first man. Police also say the first man left the store soon after the robbery and that both men walked away together.
Police ask that anyone with information related to the robbery contact Lt. Penny Lloyd at 803-425-6035 or plloyd@camdensc.org.
