Representatives from the South Carolina State Fair announced Wednesday morning that discounted admission tickets and ride vouchers are now available. They can be found through Oct. 8 at participating Circle K stores, and scstatefair.org.

The South Carolina State Fair’s roving ticket booth, FRED, will be at numerous locations across the greater Columbia region also selling discount tickets Sept. 4 through Oct. 8. Find FRED’s locations and times HERE.

Advance admission tickets are on sale for $7 ($10 at the door). Advance ride vouchers are $25 ($30 during the fair, and $35 on weekends). The ride vouchers can be exchanged on the fair grounds for a pay-one-price wristband, which offers one day of unlimited rides. Vouchers may also be exchanged for 30 ride coupons any day of the fair.

Admission to the South Carolina State Fair is free for children five-years-old and younger, and for active/retired military and their families with proper ID. Dependent children 10-years-old ad up must present ID. Adults 55-years-old and up are admitted for $7 every day at the fairgrounds.

The 150th anniversary South Carolina State Fair will run Oct. 9 through 20 at the fairgrounds on Rosewood Drive and George Rogers Boulevard.
