Homeless Helping Homeless of Columbia, SC will present “Silent Voices,” a unique and inspirational evening of original music, spoken word, poetry and dance, at Tapps Art Center 1644 Main Street, Columbia Thursday, November 15, 2018,. Doors open at 6 p.m. with a silent auction and light refreshments. The performance begins at 7 p.m.
Tickets are general admission with a suggested donation of $10 at the door.
Performances during the event are based on the life experiences of the homeless artists and show how we are more alike than we are different. Community artists contribute their talents to the evening.
Homeless Helping Homeless is a non-profit organization made up of the homeless, formerly homeless and their supporters.Their mission is to help remove the negative stereotypes associated with homelessness. They hope to build bridges, empower change and ultimately end homelessness.
Proceeds from admissions go directly to the performers.
