West Columbia officials are implementing a new campaign to embrace the residents, entrepreneurs and businesses encompassing the "WeCo #HeadWest spirit."

The city's campaign, WeCo Faces WeCo Places, will take place across the River District and Triangle City. Decorative pole banners will showcase different people and businesses, accompanied by a QR code that leads the viewer to a website with more information about the person, businesses or location featured on the banner.

Mayor Tem Miles said he's proud of the individuals being honored. "These banners will help tell the story of the success of our city and each individuals' great contribution to it," he said.

All 18 of the the WeCo Faces WeCo Places banners can be viewed at westcolumbiasc.gov/wecofacesplaces
