It has been nearly a year since the tragic death of six-year-old Faye Swetlik.

To honor the life and legacy of Faye, the Town of Springdale Police Department will host "#FayeDayWeek2021."

During Feb. 8 through 12, the town's police department is asking community members to wear pink and/or purple in remembrance of Faye's life. Springdale PD also requests those participating take an extra effort to perform random acts of kindness throughout their communities.

"Let’s come together as a community to honor her bubbly, energetic life by having a week of Faye Days, February 8 - 12, 2021," the department wrote on Facebook.

Those participating can use the hashtag “#fayedayweek2021” or send their photos to Sandy Harrelson at sharrelson@springdalesc.com. A slideshow will be created of the Faye Day Week photos to honor the life she lived.
