Lexington County deputies are investigating a Red Bank shooting that took place Sunday around 12:30 p.m. during a domestic-related incident in the 2000 block of Bliss Lane.
According to Lexington County Coroner Mararget Fisher, William Peter Busick, 55, of Lexington shot his wife, 48-year-old Chastity Lynne Busick, and his step-daughter, 23-year-old Jasmine Alyse Bailey.
Both Chastity and Jasmine were pronounced dead at the scene due to multiple gunshot wounds. William sustained a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at an area hospital.
“There was also a minor in the house who is unharmed,” said Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon. "This family has a tough road ahead. We’re still talking to family and neighbors in an effort to gather all the information.”
The investigation is still ongoing. Investigators believe this is an isolated incident and there is no ongoing threat to the public.
