Icehouse Independence Day

The Town of Lexington will have an Independence Day celebration Friday, July 1 at Icehouse Amphitheater. The event is free and will take place from 7:30 until 10 p.m.

Attendees will enjoy live entertainment from the 246th Army Band throughout the evening, followed by a fireworks show to close out the night. Patriotic music will be played on 93.1 TheLake during the fireworks show.

A large crowd is expected and the best viewing areas include the Icehouse Amphitheater, Main St. restaurants, Lexington Square Park, Lexington Veterans Monument and any public parking lots in the downtown area. All parking lots along Church St. will be closed all day and Virginia Hylton Park will close at 7:00pm.
