Lexington Police Department's Chief Terrence Green notified the community Saturday that detectives are working a suspicious death investigation. Greene is asking for those who may have information about this case to please come forward.

Officers were dispatched to the Hickory Hill mobile home park at 142 Industrial Blvd. at approximately 1:20 p.m. Saturday, regarding a woman who was found dead inside of her residence.

Detectives from the Lexington Police Department Criminal Investigations Division and the Lexington County Coroner’s Office responded to the residence and an investigation has begun to determine how the woman died.

Anyone with information about the case, or saw/heard any suspicious activity in the area of the Hickory Hill neighborhood from Friday night through Saturday morning is asked to contact Detective Taylor at 803-358-1569.
