Columbia Police Department investigators arrested two teenagers Monday in connection with a fatal shooting on Two Notch Road last month.
A 16-year-old turned himself in to investigators Monday, and is charged with murder, possession of a handgun under the age of 18 and possession of a firearm during a violent crime. He was transported to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center under a juvenile petition.
The other suspect, Kamron Richard-David Woods, 19, is charged with accessory after the fact of murder.
According to CPD, the shooting took place June 29 in the parking lot of Sam's Tobacco and Vape, at 3132 Two Notch Rd. The 16-year-old is accused of arguing with the male victim inside the business moments before the shooting.
Woods is accused of witnessing the shooting and not calling the police, failing to render aid to the victim, and driving the co-defendant away from the crime scene to aid in his escape, officers said.
The incident was captured on surveillance video, according to police.
