Broadway in Columbia representatives made a large announcement Wednesday. As part of the new season, some of Broadway's biggest hits will be coming to Columbia's Koger Center.

One of the biggest shows announced is The Lion King, making its Columbia premiere in the 2021-2022 season. The exact dates have not yet been released. Other well-known shows premiering during the 2020-2021 season include Les Miserables, Waitress, and Anastasia.

Season ticket packages start at $199 and are available now. Those interested may call the Koger Center Box Office at 803-251-2222, or buy them in person. The Koger Center is located at 806 Park St.
