Grab your walking shoes and head out to Segra Park. The facility will be reopening to the public as a public park during business hours beginning Monday, for the first time since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Excluding holidays, soda citizens can walk the BlueCross BlueShield Fitness Path weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Once inside the gates, walkers can burn calories around the 360-degree fitness path; each lap equals one-third of a mile.

While there, walkers will also be able to browse Segra Park’s Mason Jar Team Store. The store will be open Mondays through Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Fridays during November.

The holiday season is coming up, and for those looking to hit the park’s fitness path, it will be closed to the public for Thanksgiving starting noon Wednesday, Nov. 24 until the morning of Monday, Nov. 29. It will also be closed from Thursday, Dec. 23, until the morning of Monday, Jan. 3, for the holidays.
