Richland School District Two announced Friday that the district will resume free meals to students beginning Tuesday.
The U.S Department of Agriculture announced Aug. 31 plans to extend the waivers which allow school districts to serve free meals through Dec. 31, 2020.
Curbside meal service will be available at eight schools, served Mondays and Wednesdays from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Sites are open to all Richland Two students. Meals for Monday and Tuesday will be distributed on Monday and meals for Wed.-Fri will be distributed on Wednesday.
Bethel-Hanberry, Bridge Creek, Joseph Keels, North Springs, Polo Road and Rice Creek elementary schools and Dent and Longleaf middle schools will have designated areas set up for those picking up meals.
Four bus routes with 13 stops will service community sites on Mondays and Wednesdays. The stops include:

Spring Garden/Hunters Way Apartments- 11:30-11:40 a.m.
Spears Creek Mobile Home Park- 11:30-11:40 a.m.

Alpine Regency Mobile Home Park- 12:05-12:25 p.m.
Chimneys at Brookfield- 12:10-12:25 p.m.
Charleswood (at JCC)- 12:15-12:25 p.m.
Freeway Mobile Home Park- 12:15-12:35 p.m.
Springtree Apartments- 12-12:15 p.m.
Beldon Spring Lake- 12:30-12:40 p.m.
Greenbriar Apartments- 12:30-12:40 p.m.
KRC Wildewood- 12:35-12:45 p.m.
