Richland library storytime

Storytelling is one of humanity’s oldest arts, and as enjoyable now as it was in the earliest days of history. Richland Library will keep the tradition alive Tuesday at the North Main location.

The outdoor family storytime event will be led by library staff, performing from 10-10:30 a.m. and again from 11-11:30 a.m.

The event is free and open to all ages, but advance registration is required. Each registration is for a "family square" which will accommodate up to five people, with COVID-19 safety in mind.

Library staff will lead the kids in sharing stories, songs and more while building early literacy skills with fun for the whole family.

The event is scheduled for the Richland Library North Main Courtyard, accessible from the parking lot.

Library staff ask anyone who has COVID-19, has symptoms of COVID-19, is waiting for COVID-19 test results, or may have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 to refrain from attending the event, for the safety of everyone.
