The South Carolina Department of Corrections (SCDC) Inspector General released the arrest warrants Friday for a Lexington woman arrested on contraband charges involving an inmate at Camille Graham Correctional Institution in Columbia.
According to SCDC, Tammy Dianne Anslow, 64, is charged with providing contraband to a prisoner and criminal conspiracy. The charges involve conspiring with an inmate to leave a package of methamphetamines near the prison for the inmate to retrieve.
Arrest warrants state that Anslow conspired with the inmate through phone calls and verbal communication from Jan. 17 to 23 in an attempt for the prisoner to smuggle in narcotics. Anslow and the prisoner discussed step-by-step instructions Jan. 19 as to where to retrieve and place the package containing 15 grams of methamphetamine.
Anslow is considered innocent until proven guilty.
