If It can be cooked in a truck, it was probably available Saturday at the South Carolina State Fairgrounds.

The sixth annual South Carolina Food Truck and Craft Beer Festival brought together around three dozen food trucks from all over the state. From barbecue and burgers to seafood, Latin food, pizza and wings to Japanese soul bowls and desserts of many kinds, there was something for nearly every taste.

“We brought the whole family and just turned them loose,” Jeanine Malloy said. “It’s like the food courts they used to have in malls, but this is bigger and better.”

There were plenty of picnic tables set up, though some preferred to eat and stroll. A DJ provided music to keep the crowd entertained.

For beer lovers, more than 50 adult beverages were available, with local establishments including Columbia Craft Brewery and Savage Craft Ale Works among those serving.

The annual event is organized by Food Truck Festivals of America.
