Dutch Fork, AC Flora finish ranked 1st in prep poll

Four-time defending Class 5A champion Dutch Fork and undefeated AC Flora each concluded the regular season ranked at the top of their respective classifications. 

Dutch Fork received all nine first-place votes in the SC Prep Football Media poll. The Silver Foxes will begin their quest for a state-record fifth state title at home Friday against Summerville.

Ridge View finished tenth in Class 5A and will travel to fifth ranked TL Hanna for its first ever playoff game in the classification.

The Falcons earned five of the nine first-place votes to remain atop Class 4A for the third straight week. They will open at Memorial Stadium against Travelers Rest.
