The South Carolina State Fairgrounds will be shining bright throughout December as the Carolina Lights holiday light show returns for another year.

Beginning Saturday, guests can drive through various scenes of Christmas including a nativity scene, a dancing field of Christmas trees, a 25-ft.-tall Frosty, the Twelve Days of Christmas, the three wise men, a tunnel of lights, a sea serpent, dinosaurs, Santa Claus and other holiday favorites.

The light show will operate from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 6 to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Carolina Lights will be closed Christmas Day.

Admission is $20 for cars, $35 for mini-buses (9-24 passengers) and $70 for vehicles with 25 or more passengers. Payment will be made at the gate, and cash, Visa and MasterCard will be accepted.
