Brunch-goers came out to Biscuits and Bluegrass Saturday at Hunter Gatherer Brewery to listen to live music, enjoy a breezy fall day, and support a worthy cause.

Proceeds from the signature event will support Senior Resources' ongoing efforts to eliminate its waiting lists, and provide services to all seniors in need throughout Richland County. According to the organization, there are more than 100 seniors currently on a waiting list to receive service from Meals on Wheels - which delivers meals to seniors' houses and alleviates the burden of preparing their own dinners.

General admission tickets to Biscuits & Bluegrass included a souvenir drinking glass, two drink tickets, and access to a biscuit bar with "fancy" biscuit toppings. Catering was provided by the Spotted Salamander. Mimosas and beer were provided by Hunter Gatherer staff.

A stage was located beside the venue, with performances from The Black Iron Gathering, and The Dirty Gone Dolas. The event was presented by BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina.
