Holiday shopping is in full swing, and the Tinsel Town Market in Chapin will be offering many gift options Saturday made by local craft vendors.

The event will be held in the Chapin Baptist Church parking lot (950 Old Lexington Hwy.) from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Organizer BJ Strickland said the market will serve as a fundraiser for Girl Scouts Troop 760.

"They had a trip planned for next year and needed to raise the money," she said. "So, Chapin Baptist agreed to let us have it in their parking lot. We've got 80 crafters and five different food trucks."

The event is free to attend. The money raised through vendors' fees is the amount that will be donated to the Girl Scouts.

Strickland said there will be nearly two parking spots in between the vendors to allow for plenty social distancing. Masks are recommended but not required.

The food trucks on-site will include Fleur Delicious Creole, Hippie Chicks, The Restaurant Next Door, Sips Etc., and The Donut Guy. According to Strickland, vendor items include woodwork, candles, homemade crafts, iron work, jewelry, clothing, quilts, homemade goodies, books and more.

Additional information can be found on the market's Facebook page.
