COVID in schools

The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) released a guide for COVID in the upcoming school year. DHEC is encouraging all students and staff to get vaccinated unless they cannot receive it for medical reasons. They are also promoting masking indoors for students and staff when community levels are high or the school is experiencing an outbreak.

According to DHEC, COVID numbers will be monitored in schools throughout the year.
