The playoffs for public and private high schools are officially underway.

A total of 12 SC High School League girls and four SC Independent School Association boys teams will open play Monday. A matchup between two Midlands teams will take place in Camden with the Lady Bulldogs facing Brookland-Cayce.

Eleven public school boys and 3 SCISA girls' teams will play first-round games Tuesday.

The private school finals are set for this Saturday, while the SCHSL will be played over three days (May 13-15) at AC Hawkins Stadium on the campus of Irmo High School.
