Tornado 2

A tornado watch has been issued for Columbia and parts of Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. The tornado watch is valid until 7 p.m. Sunday. The National Weather Service’s Columbia office issued the tornado watch, Sunday.

In addition, a line of thunderstorms are predicted to move in and produce strong, damaging gusts of wind, and the possibility of a tornado. Heavy rain and localized flooding could be a result of the storms, too.
