Six-year-old dies in residential fire in West Columbia

Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the victim of a residential structure fire that occurred just before 10 p.m., Tuesday, on Old Dunbar Road in West Columbia. Jeremy Adam Bowen has been charged with criminal sexual conduct, according to a Lexington County Sheriff Department report.  He allegedly enticed a female student he knew to leave school Wednesday. Lexington County man gets 50 years for murder to stop witness from testifying

John Christopher Hart, 28, of Lexington County  was sentenced to fifty years in prison for the murder of Paula Justice. Justice, 43,  also of Lexington County, was killed in 2013. Eleventh Circuit Solicitor Rick Hubbard announced the sentence, Thursday.
