S.C. Treasurer breaks record for returning unclaimed property

South Carolina Treasurer Curtis Loftis has announced that almost $33 million in unclaimed property was returned to its owners in 2017. Loftis praised the work of the Unclaimed Property Program for helping to identify people who have unclaimed money throughout the state.
