A heavy rain on Monday afternoon may have damaged part of I-26 in Lexington County. 2 Sumter men arrested in connection to Lexington County stolen handguns case

Detectives arrested two men in Sumter Thursday in connection to a July 4 burglary during which nearly 40 handguns were stolen from a Gilbert sporting goods store. Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the victim of a suspected accidental drowning. The incident took place in Lake Murray Sunday.
