The cover of Green Profit Magazine featured a familiar Midlands location in its most recent July issue.

Wingard's Market in Lexington was pictured in the national industry magazine, which brings detailed flower and plant information to retailers. The company's greenhouse is pictured multiple times, demonstrating the way more retailers are going for taller greenhouses and broader aisles, to offer consumers a better shopping experience. The company that made the greenhouse in 2019, Stuppy Inc., has a profile in the magazine.

Wingard's co-owner Wally Steinhauser said it was a bit of a shock when he got the call that they were on the cover. "We could not be happier about our greenhouse, and Neil Devaney, a Stuppy Inc. executive, was excellent and easy to work with," he said. "The article is about growing trends in the industry, including these larger greenhouses. To be recognized as a trendsetter in a national magazine that industry leaders read is incredible."

The greenhouse at Wingard's has motorized vents and offers wide bays with tall sidewalls to maximize environmental control. It houses some tall plants including towering palms.

This is the second time the business has made the cover of the magazine.

Wingard's Market is located at 1403 N. Lake Dr. Additional information can be found at
