Traditions Fine Jewelers will soon expand its operations to Columbia in the coming weeks.

A location will open at 481-7 Town Center Place in the Village at Sandhill, according to consultant, Scott Satterfield.

"We were looking to open a second location and we wanted it to be far enough to bring new customers," Satterfield said. "We knew the location was a good area, so we went with it."

A soft opening will be held Oct. 4, and a grand opening ceremony will take place sometime in November. Satterfield said that between the soft and grand openings, inventory will continuously be sent in to the location.

Traditions Fine Jewelers specializes in engagement and wedding jewelry and other fine jewelry, as well as accessories, Gamecock and Clemson fan apparel and more.

The new location will contain a wide collection of inventory, according to Satterfield. "It has the potential to be one one of the mores unique, cool fan shops in the Southeast," he said. "We will have a very significant diamond presence as well." He added that customer satisfaction, service and pricing are qualities Traditions possesses in order to deliver a favorable customer experience
