The South Carolina State Museum’s (SCSM) gift shop, the Cotton Mill Exchange will open its doors for shoppers to purchase Mother’s Day gifts. The store will open its doors for one day only Saturday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Museum members will receive an additional 10% off their purchases and state employees will receive 10% off in celebration of South Carolina state employee appreciation month.

SCSM is taking precautionary measures during the sale and limiting capacity of shoppers allowed in the store at one time.

The Cotton Mill Exchange offers a variety of linens, jewelry, home and office décor, gourmet food items and more all representing the palmetto state.

SCSM is also participating in Midlands Gives on Tuesday. The 18-hour fundraiser collects donations for nonprofits across the midlands.

Additional information and updates are available at SCSM’s website.
