mungo homes week of service

The Mungo Homes Foundation recently announced its first-ever Week of Service.

In an effort to continue giving back to the community, the company-wide initiative spans all nine Markets where Mungo builds. Mungo Associates will use company-allotted paid volunteer hours to support local organizations.

Team members in the Midlands will kick off the Week of Service at Epworth Children’s Home facilitating activities and outdoor games for the children. Members will then perform general maintenance and cleanup for Reconciliation Ministries and Family Promise of the Midlands June 21 and 22.

The week will conclude with all hands on deck to build a ramp for two deserving individuals in the Town of Lexington. The kind deed is in partnership with the nonprofit organization EmmanuWheel, who provides wheelchair ramps to mobility-impaired individuals who cannot afford the cost.
