Clemson fans in the Midlands have one more reason to get excited about football season.

Clemson Athletics and its exclusive multimedia rights holder, JMI Sports, announced Wednesday a new multi-year comprehensive broadcast agreement with Midlands Media Group’s WZMJ, 93.1 The Lake.

93.1 The Lake will feature extensive coverage for Clemson Tigers football and men’s basketball games.

Midlands Media Group's managing partner Kirk Litton voiced his excitement for the new partnership. “We are thrilled to partner with Clemson University and JMISports to bring Clemson football back to the FM dial in the greater Columbia/Lexington, SC area,” he said. “There are a lot of Clemson fans in our listening area and we are glad to serve them as well as local advertisers who are passionate about the university.”

Games can be heard at 93.1 on the FM dial, via the free 93.1 The Lake app or live streamed at 931TheLakeFM.com.

In addition to 93.1 The Lake, Midlands Media Group, LLC, owns and operates WWNQ 94.3 The Dude (943thedude.com), as well as companion online newspaper Cola Daily, FIZZ Radio, an online adult alternative radio station (SodaCityFizz.com), and the e-commerce site ColaDailyDeals (coladailydeals.com).
