Joe Taylor of Southland Capital Partners has been presented with the  Quarterly Appearance Award by the West Columbia Beautification Foundation. Taylor, center, is with Melissa Sprouse-Browne, chairwoman of the WCBF and Bill Mooneyhan vice chairman.

At the WCBF meeting, Board members discussed the annual Tribute to Trees. The Tribute for Trees is scheduled for Sept. 10, from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at West Columbia City Hall, 200 N. Twelfth Street, West Columbia.

The West Columbia Beautification Foundation is also selling a limited number of commemorative bricks to be placed in the West Columbia All-Inclusive, or Enabling, Park.
