As community members and businesses continue adjusting to the COVID-19 quarantine guidelines, the Greater Irmo Chamber of Commerce wants to remind Irmo residents of local businesses still serving the community.

Kerry Powers, President and CEO of the Greater Irmo Chamber of Commerce has been actively keeping up with Irmo small businesses to ensure that they receive business from clients.

“Most of our businesses are trying to work remotely,” Powers said. She said that all of the restaurants in the area are offering curbside service, many of them including some kind of discount to the order.

“All we can do now is keep a close watch,” she said. Powers also added that she feels circumstances could change drastically by Monday. Powers is hoping for life to return to normal sooner than later.
