Flight Adventure Park in Columbia’s Village at Sandhill offers family fun from trampolines to roller skating to laser tag, and this month you can help families battling cancer while you enjoy the day.
Flight is teaming up with nonprofit South Carolina Cancer Alliance for a fundraiser in support of childhood cancer awareness and research efforts. All through September, Flight will be selling special edition apparel with 100% of the proceeds dedicated to SC Cancer Alliance.
Representatives from SC Cancer Alliance will visit the park Tuesday, and 20% of all purchases at Flight that day will be donated to the nonprofit.
"Supporting those battling cancer is a cause very close to me as a two-time cancer survivor,” said Flight Adventure Park CEO Steven Yeffa. “I’m so grateful that we are able to give back to the South Carolina Cancer Alliance, in particular, to support children battling cancer. We hope through this fundraising initiative we can help further their cause in enhancing the quality of life of children with cancer, from diagnosis through treatment to survivorship.”
Flight’s Sandhill location (741 Fashion Dr. in Columbia) offers a ninja warrior course, inflatables, rope ladders stretched over a landing zone of soft foamy blocks, an indoor turf field, a roller rink, dodge ball, trampolines, air slam basketball, an arcade and more.
