columbia international airport CAE

In an effort to ensure accurate information is received by all who may still need to fly for work-related purposes, Columbia Metropolitan Airport released updated information Wednesday regarding airlines and their various flight schedules.

As of Wednesday, the following updates have been put in place by each airline operating out of CAE:

American Airlines

Moving from 7 to 6 daily departures to Charlotte

Moving from 3 to 2 daily departures to Washington DC

Suspended service to New York until further notice

Suspended service to Miami until further notice

Delta Air Lines

Moving from 9 to 4 daily departures to Atlanta

Suspended service to New York until further notice

United Airlines

No changes to date

Columbia Metropolitan Airport remains open and operating for guests who require essential travel during this time. Flights remain operating out of Columbia Metropolitan Airport, but at a reduced capacity determined by each airline. According to representatives, the Columbia Metropolitan Airport does not set airline flight schedules or cancel any flights. Only airlines have that authority. CAE representatives encourage travelers to check with their airline before heading to the airport.

The Columbia Metropolitan Airport works closely with its airline partners to receive updates on their route schedules and any changes in services.
