Columbia Metropolitan Airport’s surrounding property will be master developed by Magnus Development Partners.
The 16 parcels vary in size, configuration, zoning and proximity to CAE -- most have easy access to major thoroughfares such as Platt Springs Road, Edmund Hwy (SC-302), and Old Barnwell Road. Nearby I-26 and I-77 would provide easy access for transportation of goods and services. Each parcel offers unique features based on its size, configuration, location, and zoning therefore catering to different business and project needs.
Magnus has been chosen to work with the airport to determine the highest and best use for each property and create supporting development plans for the available land parcels. The property consists of almost 500 acres of commercial and industrial sites around the airport.
Magnus’ vast experience developing and constructing new class “A” buildings, allows them to be confident they will secure a mix of tenants and owners that will reshape the highway 302 corridor. “For decades, this has been the region’s most underutilized corridor”, added Mike Gula, CAE Executive Director. “We look forward to working with Magnus to develop a strategic plan that will allow this submarket to flourish by attracting a broad range of new businesses."

The property also has the advantage of being in close proximity to both I-26 and I-77, providing easy access for transporting goods and services.
