Although many events have been canceled due to COVID restrictions, the Midlands Crafters Association has figured out a safe way to continue their annual event.

The 2020 Fall Arts & Crafts Market, which usually takes place at Lexington Middle School, will be held this year at the SC State Farmers Market (3483 Charleston Hwy., West Columbia), Saturday, Sept. 19. The event will be free and family-friendly, with more than 100 vendors, crafters and local businesses from across the Midlands. Handmade items including jewelry, woodwork, handbags, children's clothing and wreaths will be available.

In addition to the on-site vendors, there will also be a silent auction to raise funds for Harvest Hope Food Bank. A selection of items from vendors and the community will be up for auction, to benefit the food bank.

Questions regarding the craft show can be directed to Jamie Organ at 803-553-4912, or to The event will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. In addition to free admission, parking is also free.
