Cayce-West Columbia DYB Baseball Team gets resolution from West Columbia City Council

Cayce West Columbia Dixie Youth Ozone Baseball Team with coaches and West Columbia Mayor Pro Tem, Tem Miles

West Columbia Mayor Bobby Horton and West Columbia City Council recognized the Cayce-West Columbia Dixie Youth Ozone Baseball Team for winning the Dixie Youth Ozone State Championship for the 2019 season. West Columbia Mayor Pro Tem, Tem Miles is pictured with the team.

The Cayce-West Columbia Dixie Youth Ozone Baseball Team players are:
Judson Decell, KJ Griffin, Hunter Hursey, Cole Martin, Dominic Martelli, Blake Mercer, Jonathan Ploof, Austin Rhodus, Jace Rhodus, Ayden Tardif, Drew Satterfield, and JD Van Buren.

The coaches are: Head Coach David Van Buren and Assistant Coaches Aaron Tardif and Jud Decell.

The team had 7 wins and 1 loss. The team won 1st place in their league and in the District 4 Championship. They finished out
the season by winning 5 to 1 in the State Dixie Youth Ozone Championship that was played in July at Delmae, in Florence.
