Fire damages multiple units in condo complex

The Columbia Fire Department responded to a two-alarm fire Sunday morning at Lexington Green Condominiums. A CPD report said that the fire is under control. Multiple units in one building damaged by the fire. It broke out just before 7:30 am. There were multiple crews on scene and support from unit and personnel from the Irmo Fire District.
No injuries were reported, according to the CFD. Richland County Fire Marshal’s Office will be investigating. CFD image.

American Red Cross of South Carolina is helping about 20 people following the fire. That number includes occupants affected by a kitchen fire at the complex Saturday.
