Lexington National All-Stars claim runner-up trophy at Dixie Youth World Series

The Lexington National All-Stars came away with the national runner-up trophy at the Dixie Youth Baseball 2A Coach Pitch World Series Championships held last week in Ruston, LA.

The team rebounded from an opening round loss to Mississippi to advance out the loser’s bracket with four straight wins, before losing in the final to the same Mississippi team.

The roster consisted of Evans Herndon, Hamp Watts, Connor Golden, Mason Iser, Easton Crocker, Hunter Britt, Tate Dorr, Finn Hazerigg, Patrick Norris, Brady Hawn, Alex Clamp and C.J. Long. They were led by head coach Chris Norris and assistants Blake Britt, Shane Watts and Justin Crocker.
