Black Rooster to open in 2-to-3 weeks, now hiring staff
Opening day is getting closer.
Black Rooster is a restaurant at the northeast corner of the Brookland development in West Columbia. It will be opening in two-to-three weeks.
Chef and Bourbon restaurant-owner Kristian Niemi first announced, in 2018, his plan to open a rooftop restaurant and bar in the Brookland development. He said the new venture would overlook the Congaree River. Black Rooster is a French restaurant in the style of French brasseries and bistros.
The new restaurant will also feature an all-French wine list and a cocktail list heavy with French spirits and liqueurs. It will also have a very large rooftop bar overlooking the rivers and city.
According to a post on its Facebook page, Black Rooster is in the process of hiring staff. The restaurant is interviewing for Bartending positions.
Applicants should have experience in a fast-paced environment, as well as knowledge of craft cocktails and wine preferred. Full and Part-Time positions available. Resumés preferred, references required. Questions on the application must be answered.
If chosen for an interview, you will be contacted via FB by management to set it up. Do not call.
Black Rooster is also in search of a couple of highly motivated kitchen staff, including prep, line cook, and dishwashers. Full and Part-Time positions available. References required.
If you are chosen for an interview, you will be contacted via FB by management. Do not call.
