The North Columbia Business Association and Studio 2LR are seeking contributions from businesses and individuals in the Cottontown area for a special project.

The NCBA Time Capsule has been created to help build the community and unify businesses in the area.

“Our goal is to capture and preserve the unique images of the many neighborhoods within the Trestle District. Each neighborhood is invited to submit images and small items to preservation,” the announcement read.

Images and small items for consideration can be submitted through June 30, with a brief writeup/description of the item and its significance. Items are to be be dropped off at the NCBA Office, located at 2965 Main St., Columbia. The time capsule will be housed within the new NOMA station, a 2,500-sq.-ft. mixed-use development at 2430 Main St. Exact specifications of the time capsule location will be announced in the future.

According to the NCBA, all businesses and neighborhoods are invited to participate.
