Man charged with DUI in crash that killed two changing tire on I-20

A man man has been charged with DUI in connection to a crash that killed two people on I-20 in Richland County, Saturday night.

Carnelius Joseph Floyd, 28, has been arrested and charged after two men were hit and killed while changing a tire.

Floyd is being charged with a felony DUI resulting in the deaths Andrew Tad Reeser, 45, and Brian Kinney Walker, 49.

Reeser and Walker died after being struck by the vehicle driven by Floyd, said the SCHP.

Reeser and Walker were changing a tire when a third car went into the emergency lane, hit a jeep, and knocked it into the back of a van where the two were changing the tire.

Floyd is currently being held in the Richland County Detention Center.
