Broad River Lizard’s Thicket to reopen after renovations, hiring for all positions

Lizard’s Thicket on Broad River Road has been closed for extensive renovations since the beginning of April. It was announced Thursday that the popular Southern restaurant will soon be reopening, and is hiring for all front and back of house positions.

According to the announcement, interviews will be held Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. No appointment is necessary.

“Lizard’s Thicket will be hiring qualified employees at the time of the interview. If hired, applicants will need to complete paperwork that will require a picture ID and either a birth certificate, passport or Social Security card,” the notice read.

Lizard’s Thicket is a 41-year old family-owned and operated restaurant, specializing in traditional Southern food with 15 locations across the state.
