It was announced that 11-year-old YouTube sensation, Mason Ramsey, will be performing at The Senate in November.

Ramsey, known as “the yodeling boy,” gained fame in 2018 after he was recorded singing and yodeling to Hank Williams Sr.’s song “Lovesick Blues” in a Walmart. The video quickly went viral on YouTube, reaching tens of millions of views. Shortly after, he was featured on an episode of Ellen DeGeneres, and has since performed at the Grand Ole Opry, the Coachella festival, and other large shows, according to his official website.

The young Illinois native has now signed with Atlantic Records and Big Loud Records, and will begin a nation-wide tour in October. The How’s Ur Girl & How’s Ur Family Pt. 2 tour will be stopping at 1022 Senate St., in Columbia, Nov. 9. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the show begins at 8 p.m.
