Historic Columbia will be holding a special Easter-themed event Friday, but this one isn’t for the kids.

“Hoppy Hour History” will be held at the Seibels House & Garden from 5:30 to 7 p.m. According to the organization’s announcement, attendees will get to learn about the prohibition era, and participate in a happy hour-themed Easter egg hunt.

The hunt will take place across the Seibels House gardens. Some eggs will contain candy, others will have bottle tops to cash in for “hoppy” beers, and some will have tokens for bigger ticket items including two full-year memberships to Blue Bike SC.

Tickets are $20 for Historic Columbia members, and $25 for non-members. Snacks and drinks are included in the ticket price. All attendees must be 21 or over for this event. More information can be found on Historic Columbia’s website.
