Coroner releases names of two 25-year-olds in I-77 fatal collision

Richland County Coroner Gary Watts released the names of the two individuals who died Tuesday after being involved in a single-vehicle collision on I-77 Northbound, at mile marker 5.5 in Columbia. The incident occurred at approximately 1:50 p.m.

According to Watts, Devonte Ramal Seabrook, 25, of Kingston Ridge Drive in Columbia, was the driver of a vehicle that struck a highway sign and then caught on fire. He died at the scene. An autopsy indicated cause of death was due to multiple blunt force injuries to the head and body.

Anastasia Louise Icenogle, 25, of Kingston Ridge Drive in Columbia, was the passenger in the vehicle. Icenogle also died at the scene. An autopsy indicated cause of death was due to blunt force injuries to the body.

The Richland County Coroner’s Office and the SC Highway Patrol are investigating the incident.
